Knowing what energy, ghost or Geist you are encountering allows you to further develop a recation to the energy you are dealing with. The subtle changes in the geist energies surrounding you can mean the difference between success or failure. When haunted artefacts are restrained or removed this is not for your protection, it is done to contain an energy otherwise terrifying someone. Our case files and historical references, dealings and results are fascinating. Although knowing the risks involved and having the knowledge to deal with them comes at a cost, both psychical and social.

Most common hauntings, activities and spirit contact fall generally into the Malevolent Risk Category 4.
Other 'RMRC's' can or may escalate into a serious nature, beyond the normal rationality of ghost hunting, paranormal or spiritual intervention.
The differences between each RMR Caterogry is significant, therefore it is fair to say 90% of contact is MR CAT 4

Geist energy types overview

Poltergeist

  • The Noisy Vibrational Energy
  • The Poltergeist is the first energy type to make contact. It is also the type of energy or supernatural force to cause physical disturbances like unexplained loud noises, slight movement in objects, and even minor physical assaults to the ears, often centered around a specific person or location.
  • Unlike traditional ghosts, poltergeist activity is often linked to an unconscious person, usually a stressed adolescent, suggesting psychological energy manifesting physically through phenomena like wall rapping, furniture creaking, or small thrown moved. It is also the most misunderstood and misrepresented of all ‘Geist’ energy types.
  • It is certainly a disembodied spirit or supernatural force credited with certain malicious or disturbing phenomena, such as inexplicable noises, sudden wild thoughts and internal sounds, or breakage of small household items. Poltergeists are also blamed for violent actions such as moving stones or setting creating sudden weird, strange and unnatural noise. Such events are said to be sporadic, unpredictable, and often repetitive. Animals are the first to react to such a ‘Geist’ activity. Warning most only appear because you want them to be there.

Kineingeist

  • The Powerful Kinetic energy
  • Most Kineingeists are born from sudden, violent loss of life, where life was cut short in a burst of motion. Kineingeists become conduits of raw, unspent energy, bound by the physics they once obeyed in life. And now, in death, they wield it against the living.
  • Their abilities are as terrifying as they are unpredictable. Some hurl objects with impossible force, turning everyday items into deadly projectiles. Others generate gusts of wind strong enough to fling a grown man across a room. The most powerful can store motion, lying almost dormant until a victim walks by, then unleashing all their pent-up energy in a single, devastating strike. But the worst of them? They remember. They are a force encountered at the low end of the spectrum as moving an object, opening a door, but are remembered for the highest order of moving human forms or objects deemed too heavy for natural movement.
  • And the most horrifying truth? They’re learning. Adapting. Growing stronger with every burst of motion they steal. Of course there are good natured Kineingeists as well, who move you out of the way suddenly from a terrible accident, stop you for now reason or force objects in your way to keep you safe.

Voltageist

  • True Electrical Energy
  • Unlike the ghosts of tradition bound to creaking floorboards, shadowed corners, or forgotten graveyards, Voltageists dwell within circuitry, wires, and sparks. They manifest not in whispers, but in the buzz of failing lights.
  • They do not rattle chains, but overcharge circuits, frying appliances and sometimes the flesh of those who draw too close. Witnesses tell of televisions switching on to static faces, voices bleeding through radios long since unplugged, or phantom shocks that seem to carry intent.
  • The horror of Voltageists lies not only in their attacks but in their intimacy. We cannot escape electricity; it surrounds us, flows through us, even pulses within our own nervous systems. To invite light into a room, to charge a phone, or to rest near a humming outlet may be to open a doorway to something predatory. In the dark mythology of the Electric Geist, the socket becomes a haunted keyhole, the power line a spectral tether, and the spark itself an unnatural heartbeat.

Gravisgeist

  • Dynamic Mass Energy
  • Gravisgeist energies stand out as one of the most enigmatic and dangerous forces to be encountered.
  • The Gravisgeist is not an entity in the traditional sense but a force, an amalgamation of malevolence and despair that defies conventional understanding.
  • Dealing with Gravisgeist energies is another matter entirely. Traditional methods of exorcism, rooted in religious or spiritual practices, often prove ineffective or even counterproductive. These forces are not bound by the moral frameworks used to define good and evil. Instead, they thrive in chaos and resistance. These are the very forces that regularly pin people down in bed or sitting, yet the same force levitates you or an object defying its weight

Chemicgeist

  • The Alchemy of Energy
  • The Chemicgeist is not a spirit of flesh nor a phantom of memory, but an apparition forged from alchemy itself.
  • It arises where reagents rot in old laboratories, where acids gnaw through glass, where vapours saturate abandoned halls until the air tastes metallic and vile. Unlike other phantoms, a Chemicgeist does not drift, it diffuses, seeping into cracks and pores, carried on breaths you do not realize you have inhaled.
  • To banish a Chemicgeist is nearly impossible. You cannot cut it, for it has no tissue. You cannot starve it, for it feeds on instability: disease spreads faster in its company, metals pit and bones soften to chalk. The Chemicgeist waxes over its victims, leaving no trace when challenged, making this energy almost impossible to handle.

Leukgeist

  • The Power of Light and Dark
  • The world as we know it is a delicate balance between light and shadow, a fragile dance of opposites. There is an entity, an unnatural ‘Geist’ that wields both light and darkness as weapons, bending them to its will? A ‘Leukgeist’, a terrifying predator neither fully of this world nor entirely apart from it.
  • The Leukgeist does not simply terrorise; it plays a psychological game, turning its prey’s deepest fears and desires against them. With a flicker of light, it can mesmerize, presenting visions of salvation, hope, or long-lost loved ones. Yet, in the next breath, it plunges its victims into suffocating darkness, forcing them to confront their most primal terrors. It is said that those who encounter the Leukgeist are never the same, if they survive at all.

Pyrogeist

  • The Power Over Pyrokinetic energy
  • One of the most powerful instantaneous and spontaneous forces you will ever meet. Its danger to life and its unforgiving nature will catch any seasoned paranormal investigator or medium out.
  • The Pyrogeist preys on the weak, with its life-threatening actions it also dominates over those who feel up to the challenge. It has the power to tease, blister or completely devastate without reason. It controls temperature, it changes the atmosphere and it will strike, old or the very young, it cares nothing for life. Rare as they are the outcomes of dealing with this energy are life changing for all, it can burn you externally or internally, making this one of the most powerful destructive Geist energies to manipulate.
